We are thrilled to announce that on April 1, 2023, Xjays Alumni Association, USA/Canada Chapter (XAAUC) Inc. presented 70 laptops to Marist Brothers’ Juniorate (MBJ) in Okigwe, with the school’s administrators, teachers, and students in attendance.
At XAAUC Inc., we are committed to facilitating educational development in underserved schools by providing equipment, physical infrastructure, and funding scholarships for students. We believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for the next generation, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of these students.
Berea College is a private liberal arts college in Berea, Kentucky. The college is founded on the principle of “co-education, work-study, and interracial cooperation.” Berea College is one of the oldest interracial colleges in the United States.
We extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Jasmine Jones and Prof. Deanna Wilborne at Berea College for their generosity and support, which has made it possible for us to provide these valuable resources to MBJ. We would also like to express our gratitude to the International President of MBJ Old Boys Association, Mr. Tony Madu and the P.R.O., Mr. Chidozie Keke, for presenting the laptops on our behalf. Your presence and support made the event a resounding success and it was a joy to see the excitement on the faces of the students and teachers at MBJ.
Finally, we would like to congratulate the students and teachers of MBJ on the acquisition of the laptops. We hope that the equipment will help to create a brighter future for you all. We are committed to continuing to support your educational journey and look forward to seeing the great things that you will achieve with these new resources.
